"iqbal" the movie

Today i am focussing on a film.A film which gave me much to entertain and much to think. That is "Iqbal", a bollywood film with differences.Normally Hindi films are a collection of sounds,action and colours which we can't digest.Here comes something different that is "Iqbal".
Iqbal is young man who is deaf and dumb belonging to a poor family. There may be so many people interested in cricket but for Iqbal cricket was not just a game but his life. But his father was a practical man who believed in hardwork and normal way of progress.He was not at all interested in guiding hs son to a cricketers life. But cricket was deeply disolved even in Iqbals dreams.Iqbal joined Guruji's cricket academy and was practising.But mishap came to him in the form of a rich man for whom he was pushed out from the academy.Iqbal was not ready to give up his dreams. he continued his training under the guidence of another player who was very old. At last Iqbal was selected to the Indian team overcoming all the barriers raised by Guruji.Of course the story is simple but the dedication and involvement of this young man attracted me.We should fix a slogan for victory from this story in our minds, "THE MAN WHO WINS IS THE MAN WHO THINKS HE CAN AND DECIDES HE WILL AND WORK."

Hero concept in malayalam movies

Today
I want to tell you a few words
on the hero concept in malayalam movies.
It is an important topic
since it reflects the trend of the society.

In the period of Prem Nazeer
a hero is expected to have a beautiful face.
He should win in all competitions.
He should sing songs and should run around the trees with heroines.

This was changed by the arrival of Jayan,
from whome the concept of well built body got importance.
At that time hero used to suffer a lot in the first half of the movie
and takes revenge in the second half.

Then came the present stage
I wish to express as the most unfortunate period.
Now our heroes are using the most vulgur language
and are doing the most evil things.
I am really ashamed of this trend
and afraid of its effects on youth.

But fortunately there is
one and only one hero
who talks in gentle language
and uses his brain.
That is Mr.Sethurama Iyer C.B.I.

Please have him as your hero!!
and should close your eyes to other evils.
